60th Year Jubilee Celebration of WCCI at Srinagar, India

The World Crafts Council International AISBL (WCCI) marked its 60th Year Jubilee with a grand celebration in India, highlighting the enduring legacy of global craftsmanship. The event, held in two phases—New Delhi (November 21-24, 2024) and Srinagar (November 25-28, 2024)—brought together artisans, policymakers, and international delegates to explore the cultural and economic significance of traditional crafts.

The Srinagar segment offered an immersive experience, showcasing the rich heritage of Jammu & Kashmir’s handloom and handicraft sector. With a Craft Safari, insightful discussions, and the launch of the ‘Seal of Authenticity for Crafts,’ the event underscored the importance of preserving and promoting artisanal traditions.
